Who we are
This site is run by Kika Polkadots (Ariane “Kika” Araujo), a face-painting and party-entertainment business based in Orem, Utah. You can reach us through the Get a Quote form on this site. This policy explains what information we do and don’t collect when you visit kikapolkadots.com.
The Kids Zone collects nothing
Our Kids Zone games (coloring, bubble pop, soccer and paint-a-face) are designed for children and are built to be completely private:
- No data collection. We don’t ask kids for names, emails, photos, locations or any other personal information.
- Nothing leaves the device. The games run 100% in your browser. Nothing a child draws, colors, taps or plays is uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- No accounts or logins. There’s nothing to sign up for.
- No tracking or analytics. We don’t use cookies, pixels, fingerprinting or third-party analytics to follow visitors around.
- No ads. We don’t serve advertising to children (or anyone), and there are no third-party ad networks.
- No outside links without a grown-up. Kids pages don’t send children off to other websites; any link meant for adults is clearly for adults.
Things that stay on your own device
Some activities can optionally save your work on your own device so you can come back to it — for example, a coloring page in progress, or downloading a picture or printable PDF to your device. When this happens:
- It’s stored locally in your browser or saved to your device
(using
localStorageand ordinary file downloads). It is never sent to us. - You can clear it any time by clearing your browser data, or deleting the downloaded file.
Where we collect information: the quote form
The main part of this site that collects personal information is the grown-up Get a Quote form — and it’s meant to be filled out by a parent, guardian or event organizer, not a child.
- What we ask for: your name, phone number and a message about your party (required), and optionally your email, event type, date, location and number of kids.
- Why: so Kika can reply with a friendly quote and plan your event.
- How it’s sent: securely over HTTPS to Kika by email; we use it only to respond to your request.
- Also recorded as a tracked request: so nothing slips through the cracks, after a quote request is accepted we also try to record it in the site’s feedback system (FeedbackHub). When available, its ticket reference is shown in the form. It contains the same details you typed plus the technical context described below; if you gave an email, the feedback system may send a confirmation with that reference. A tracking failure does not mean you need to resend an accepted quote request.
- Spam protection: the form includes a hidden spam-trap field. When configured, Google reCAPTCHA is loaded when you submit a quote. It is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- We don’t sell or share the information you send us, and we don’t use it for advertising.
The feedback & bug report form
The optional Feedback & bug reports form lets an adult report a bug, suggest a feature, or send a message. It collects only the message you write, an optional email (used solely to reply), an optional name on the contact form, and the structural page context listed in the form itself (page path, browser and OS family, device class, viewport, timezone, locale, colour-scheme preference, app version, and which form you used). No cookies, no tracking, no phone number, and email is always optional — you can also tick a box to leave the technical context out entirely.
How long we keep this information
- Incident records without an email: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Your email address and name: kept for 12 months after the request is closed, then removed from the record.
- Technical context (browser, OS, page path, etc.): 12 months.
Deleting your information
You can ask us to delete a request at any time: reply to the confirmation email, reach out through the Get a Quote form, or use the “delete this report” control on the status page linked from your confirmation. We’ll remove it promptly.
Children’s privacy (COPPA)
We care about children’s privacy and aim to honor the spirit of the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because the Kids Zone collects no personal information from anyone, there’s nothing about a child for us to store, share or sell. The quote form is intended for adults. If you believe a child has somehow sent us personal information and you’d like it removed, please contact us through the Get a Quote form and we’ll promptly delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we add new features that change how the site handles information, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
